OUR MISSION:
To dramatically support and promote the message of Christ by action and in truth through worship dramas, skits, monologues and dinner theater.

Drama is a Biblical form of expressing God's Word. Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea and other prophets "acted" out God's message to the people. Jesus' own parables were a dramatic presentation of God's truth. Drama has power in worship. It reveals our inner desires and passions. It draws us into the story of Scripture. It can help us see our sin. It can motivate us to change.

WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
Drama done well helps people bring their defenses down. Drama done well in church will also connect people to the message - the Word. Our goal is to do drama well: to break down barriers so people are more receptive to the message, to open an arena for artists to use their dramatic and comedic gifts in worship, and to glorify God.

OPPORTUNITIES IN THE DRAMA MINISTRY

Actors/Actress
A core team of actors participates in dramas during Sunday worship service and special events.  Additional actors are added as needed. Excellent memorization skills are required to learn scripts quickly.

Special Productions
The North Pointe Church desires to use all areas of the arts, including music, drama, video and dance, to present special productions on a regular basis. From musicals and plays to large group dinner theaters, our productions offer the challenge of a longer-term rehearsal schedule for a specific outreach purpose.

Technical & Stage Production Team
If you are skilled in the technical field, set design, art, graphics, or just have a gift for Stage Management (calling cues and behind the scenes organization) we offer a variety of rewarding places for service.
