our best...He deserves nothing less!The North Pointe Church is seeking to grow and develop our Music Ministry to widen our Community Outreach and eternal impact on the New Tampa Area. If you are a Vocalist or Instrumentalist (Keyboard, Synthesizer, Guitarist, Bass, Brass, Strings, Drummer or Percussionist), the North Pointe Church has a place for you.
We are looking to add vocalists and musicians to the current worship teams, including youth and adult, as well as finding people to begin other Praise & Worship Teams here at North Pointe.
Opportunities for service include the following:
PRAISE CHOIR
A passion for worship and
vocal talent are the prerequisites for
participation.

Audition NOT REQUIRED for participation. We are looking for vocalists with the ability to harmonize and blend within a contemporary Praise Choir.

Ministry: Team members sing as scheduled by the Worship Minister. Usually scheduled once every other month.

Rehearsals: Praise Choir rehearsals are the TWO Wednesdays (Preceding a Performance Date) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. And on Sunday Morning prior to the Worship Service at 9:00am.

PRAISE
LEADER VOCAL TEAM
A passion for worship and exceptional
vocal talent are the prerequisites for
participation. Due to the Contemporary Style
of music here at North Pointe, this ministry
is for experienced vocalists.

Audition REQUIRED for participation. We are looking for solo quality vocalists with the ability to harmonize and blend within a contemporary vocal ensemble, and possess the ability to "lead worship", "connect with the congregation" and exemplify the biblical character described in John 4:23-24.

Ministry: Praise Leader Vocal Team members sing as scheduled by the Praise & Worship Minister. Usually scheduled twice monthly on rotation.

Rehearsals: Praise Vocal Team rehearses Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the Wednesdays prior to your Sunday Singing Schedule.

PRAISE BAND TEAM

instrumental talent are the prerequisites for
participation. Due to the Contemporary Style
of music here at North Pointe, this ministry
is for experienced
Instrumentalists.

Audition REQUIRED for participation. Must exemplify the biblical character described in John 4:23-24.
- Must be able to Read Sheet Music & Lead Sheets. You must also be able to improvise and learn some by ear. A wide background of musical interests and experience is preferred.

Rehearsals: Praise Band rehearses Wednesday from 6:30pm to 9:30 p.m. every Wednesday Night. Also on Sunday mornings at 9:00am (prior to Service)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PRAISE VOCAL TEAM AND WORSHIP BAND

Have a born again experience and live a life in fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Be a member of The North Pointe Church.

Faithfully attend the services of The North Pointe Church for at least 6 months, or provide references.

Be at least 16 years old.

Attend ALL rehearsals leading up to a ministry weekend, and participate in ALL ministry weekend services that you are scheduled. Ministry weekend consists of services on and Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Vocalists: Participate in all Praise Choir performance dates.
