He Took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking
him in his arms, he said to them, "whoever welcomes one of
these children in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes
me does not welcome me, but the one who sent me."
Just as the disciples were
taught to welcome children, our Children's Ministry is
composed of loving and nurturing volunteers, eager to
welcome each child and fulfill God's will to teach them
about Jesus.
The North Pointe Church is
blessed to have Frances Cameli as our Children's Ministry
Director. Frances has
the heart and vision to help guide the children of The North
Pointe Church to acceptance of our Savior Jesus Christ,
through age appropriate activities and curriculum. It's
Frances' desire that each child come to know the Lord and
"in-turn" become witnesses to that those that do not know
Him!
Before surrendering
to
full-time Christian ministry, Frances worked as an Office
Manager and Dental Assistant. Following God's
leadership, Frances accepted the call into full-time
ministry. She likes to say...."
I've traded "dentistry" for "ministry"!
Frances grew up in a
Baptist Church, at the age of 12, she accepted Christ as her
personal savior and was baptized. In her adult
years she developed her leadership roles in serving in the
Children's Ministry Department, Vacation Bible School, Youth
Outreach Events and a host of other activities. As a wife of
a Air Force Husband, they have traveled/relocated
extensively throughout our country. This travel has
given Frances a great blended perspective of "Children's
Ministries" across our country.
Frances has been married
for 15 years to her husband Chris.
They have two sons,
Jared(14) and Brennan(11).
Both of her children have
accepted Christ and been baptized.
