VELOCITY exists to REACH non-believing students, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, to challenge them to discover a ministry to SERVE in, and HONOR God with their lives.

What it is all about is that there is a creator of this universe and he wants to see you live life to the fullest. It isn't about religion. Religion is tradition and rules. God doesn't want you to have a life full of tradition. Jesus was God in the flesh when he walked the earth 2,000 years ago. Jesus died for your sins so you can go to heaven if you believe and want to follow him. Getting to heaven doesn't require good works, but belief in Jesus. Christianity is about living for Jesus so that we may be saved from eternity away from him. If we live for Jesus it doesn't mean robot like rules. Just like a parent has rules to save us from pain, so does Jesus. The better life is always discovered when you are living truly for Jesus!
